The Eco Market is a curated event. This means that each vendor is carefully assessed and vetted for the eco-friendly credentials. We look at where they source their raw materials, how they process them, what is the packaging, how they are distributed and the life-span of the product itself. Eco Market Malta only works with those that can demonstrate they are guided by genuine and ethical sustainable principles.
For each vendor, we apply an application and review proces, based on a successful international model. To take part in the Eco Market, they must meet the minimum standards for their respective sector.
Eco Market Malta selection criteria consists of five elements for each sector. Each vendor must meet at least one of the criteria in their cateogry in order to be eligible to participate. No one is ever rejected, instead they will be encouraged to re-apply after making sustainable changes within their business.
