We’re very looking forward to returning to Mellieha with Eco Market! In collaboration with the Mellieha Local Council, we present you an eventful weekend with sustainable stalls, music, and several activities for kids of all ages.
Expect to find a myriad of stalls featuring small local businesses and entrepreneurs offering all kinds of Eco-friendly products and services. You will never find any kind of single-use plastic at the Eco Market. All our vendors package their products responsibly in plant-based plastics, bio-degradable material or even return and refill options. Don’t forget to bring your re-usable water bottle and drink for free.
This event is part of activities organised for EU Sustainable Mobility Week and will host relevant talks and workshops.

Eco Market – Marine Life Fair
1 – 2 October 2022, National Aquarium Square, Qawra
Eco Market Malta and The Malta National Aquarium invite you to the island’s first ‘Marine Life Fair’ on the occasion of the Aquarium’s 9th Anniversary.
This 2 day event is being organised with the intention of raising awareness about ocean plastics, beach pollution, the several endangered marine species and the importance of the fragile underwater ecosystem and how to protect it. There will be several activities discussing environmental topics, including Malta’s sea creatures and the dangers of plastic.
Joining the Marine Life Fair are a number of Social Enterprises and NGOs who will conduct different fun & educational activities for kids of all ages. The activities, by qualified marine biologists and marine experts, will be aimed to educate kids about marine conservation. Kids will learn more about dolphins, sharks, turtles, whales, corals and other marine species found in the Mediterranean Sea. This is a great opportunity to introduce children and teenagers to Marine & Environmental Sciences as a prospective career.
Visit the Marine Life Fair which will take place on the square in front of the National Aquarium, where you will also find a number of exceptional Eco Market brands showcasing their eco-friendly and sustainable products. There will also be plant-based food and drinks, cruelty-free and vegan body products, home accessories and decor, toys and games, sustainable fashion, accessories, books, and many beautiful gift ideas. The 2-day event will be enriched with musical entertainment and competitions with fantastic prizes to be won!
